MINE KARA
Greetings! I’m Mine. As a Civil Engineer and BIM Specialist with a Master's degree in Big Data Analytics, I thrive at the intersection of design, technology, and data. My academic foundation from Istanbul Technical University, combined with my data-centric master's from MEF University, has empowered me to lead impactful projects that blend engineering precision with data-driven innovation.
Over the past several years, I’ve worked on complex infrastructure, metro, and industrial projects across Turkey and France. I specialize in Building Information Modeling (BIM), where I not only handle clash detection and high-LOD modeling but also automate processes using tools like Dynamo and Python. My experience with Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, and Allplan enables me to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams while ensuring ISO 19650 compliance and streamlined project execution. What sets me apart is my ability to turn technical data into clear, strategic insights. By integrating Power BI and Tableau dashboards, I help project stakeholders visualize performance and make smarter decisions. I see BIM not just as a modeling tool, but as a holistic approach to smarter, more connected construction.I am now focused on shaping the future of construction through smart workflows, AI integration, and digital twins. Passionate about both teaching and learning, I enjoy sharing my knowledge while continuing to explore the limitless potential of data in AEC.

Income vs Party Identification - Statistical Testing
This project examines how annual household income influences political party preferences among ethnic minorities in the UK. Analyzing 2010 survey data from five minority groups, it identifies income-based patterns in party affiliation, with higher earners leaning toward Conservatives and lower-income groups favoring Labour or remaining undecided. These findings can help political parties tailor strategies to better engage minority communities based on income differences.
Mobile Gaming Analytics
This project analyzes mobile game data to enhance player engagement and profitability. Key metrics like LTV, retention rates, and ad revenue are evaluated to identify revenue drivers and optimize monetization. Additionally, data models help detect in-game cheating and predict player progression, supporting strategies to improve retention and in-game reward systems.
Newsfeed Analysis in Tableau
In this Newsfeed Analysis project, I utilized Tableau to examine user interaction patterns with the Newsfeed feature of a website. The analysis focused on understanding how users engage with both automated and manual posts, with the goal of identifying content types that drive higher engagement and providing actionable recommendations to optimize the Newsfeed for better user retention.
User Journey Analysis
In this User Journey Analysis project, I developed Python tools to analyze real-world data from an online learning platform, identifying key user behaviors and page sequences that drive subscription conversions.
Food Recommendation System
This project was born out of a passion for developing an app for those who don't know what to do for dinner. With a focus on streamlit, we aim to recommend food based on calorie and time.
Customer Segmentation with RFM Analysis
In this project, I applied clustering techniques to segment FLO’s customers based on their behaviors, enabling the creation of targeted marketing strategies for each segment.
